Deflector is a game that was developed as part of a game design module in my second semester of first year computer games development. It was a team based project created in collaboration with Cian O’Sullivan and Luke Boland.

We were given access to full version of Microsoft’s XNA for use in the games development along with Visual Studio. The game was a simple concept you control a turret that can absorb bullets from enemy turrets and fire them back but only when your shield is available. Some objects within the levels would also act as a shield for you when utilized correctly. All the maps and enemy turrets are generated by reading from text files with specific coordinates for each separate level.

The Program is written in C# and available the beta demo version is available for play on request here. A video demonstration is visible below, enjoy.
